"Iwate Innovation Research Park" (commonly known as I-waRP)

"Iwate Innovation Research Park" is a network-based innovation hub in which Iwate University, Iwate Prefecture, Morioka City, the Iwate Industry Promotion Center, and the Iwate Industrial Technology Center collaborate strongly to provide seamless support from the early stages of research and development to social implementation and regional industrial promotion.

Here are the events and programs organized by I-waRP's collaborating institutions.

[Iwate Industrial Technology Center] FY2026 "Annual Presentation" to be held on June 19

Oral presentations on research and support achievements, exhibitions of developed products, and guided tours of the facility will be conducted.

(1) Research Outcome Presentations (13:00–15:50: Main Hall) Hybrid format (both in-person and online)

- Industrial Technology Center Staff: 5 themes

- Company Presentations: 2 themes

- Special Lecture: "Recommendations for Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration" by Satoshi Ogawa, Advisor/Fellow (Former President of Iwate University)

(2) Product Exhibitions and Demonstrations (12:30–17:15: Entrance Hall, Small Hall)

- Introduction of research outcomes, etc.

- Demonstrations of AI image diagnosis and collaborative robots

(3) Partner Organization Exhibitions (12:30–17:15: Entrance Hall)

[Iwate Industry Promotion Center] "Side-Job Talent Utilization Seminar" for SME Support Agencies to be held on July 8

The Iwate Prefecture Professional Human Resources Strategy Office (Iwate Industry Promotion Center / Industrial Support Division) presents the "Side-Job Talent Utilization Seminar" for SME support agencies targeting representatives from financial institutions, commerce and industry associations, and government agencies.

This seminar is an excellent opportunity to learn about a new "weapon" to resolve clients' business challenges: "the utilization of side-job talent," alongside subsidy information. We look forward to your active participation.
