A groundbreaking entertainment show by enka legend Michiyoshi Chiyoko, redefining the conventions of enka and kayō music, will be held at the heart of Kokusai Street in Naha, Okinawa. Her exceptional singing talent and witty stage banter continue to captivate fans nationwide—this performance is a must-see.

Adding to the excitement, the show will feature guest appearances by Arinkurin, a beloved Okinawan comedy duo, and Jun-sensei, a popular local solo comedian, bringing even more laughter and energy to the venue.

Before the show, guests will enjoy a standing buffet lunch featuring exclusive dishes prepared by the hotel, accompanied by a wide range of drinks including beer, highballs, lemon sours, non-alcoholic beer, and three types of soft drinks. After savoring the meal, attendees will move to a separate seated area for a relaxed and luxurious entertainment experience.

Michiyoshi Chiyoko Profile

A bridge between enka and J-POP, Michiyoshi Chiyoko made history in April 2025 by performing at Kasuga Taisha in Nara, a UNESCO World Heritage site—her first such performance in her career. From August to October 2025, she achieved an unprecedented fourth 50th-anniversary leading performance at Meiji-za, Hakata-za, and Shin-Kabukiza, drawing 55,000 people across 42 shows. To commemorate the 100th year of the Showa era, Columbia Records released her exquisite album 'LOVE Showa SONGS,' featuring her renditions of classic Showa-era hits. In 2026, she will launch her nationwide concert tour 'Michiyoshi Chiyoko no Utage Join Concert 2026,' starting in Fukuoka in July and visiting Tokyo, Yamagata, Osaka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, and more.

Arinkurin Profile

Formed by Chris and Higaryuuta from Okinawa Prefecture, Arinkurin is a skilled comedy duo under Yoshimoto Kogyo. Their manzai routines, blending Uchinaaguchi (Okinawan dialect) with humorous and authentic portrayals of local life and culture, have earned them immense popularity among Okinawans. They have won the 'O-1 Grand Prix,' Okinawa’s biggest comedy competition, multiple times, proving their excellence. With numerous regular TV and radio appearances, they are leading figures in Okinawa’s comedy scene and will bring the audience into waves of laughter during this performance.

Jun-sensei Profile

Hailing from Kitachinbaru Village in Okinawa, Jun-sensei is a popular solo comedian deeply rooted in the local community. Known for his unique delivery using deep Uchinaaguchi (Okinawan dialect) passed down from elders, along with his approachable personality, he is loved by audiences of all ages and genders.
