Jomon Kikaku LLC, an environmental and social contribution company based in Ishigaki, Okinawa, aiming for a sustainable circular society, pre-opened 'EARTH GARDEN' on May 30, 2026 (Zero Waste Day). This world-first theme park turns collected trash into currency. Located at the nature resort 'THE UBUFURU ISHIGAKI,' it offers a global solution to the marine plastic problem, providing a 'new beginning for travel.' The key feature is that the admission fee is the marine debris collected by the visitors themselves. After enjoying the beautiful nature of Ishigaki, visitors collect trash and use it as currency to enter. It is the world's first theme park where people can internalize the marine plastic issue through fun experiences rather than a sense of duty. The park will feature a marine debris museum, library, sustainable exhibitions, workshops, and an upcycling studio. The base, 'THE UBUFURU ISHIGAKI,' is a luxury nature resort with suites exceeding 130 square meters, serving as a hub to launch a global movement to solve the marine plastic crisis.
