This tour offers a casual pairing experience between the flavors of "neighborhood sushi restaurants" loved by locals for many years and the Company's wines, available at our winery tours. Concept: "Beyond Tourism" - New Discoveries Where Local Life and Wine Blend

Otaru sushi is nationally renowned, but we often hear questions like, "Which restaurant should I choose?" "I want to pair it with wine, but where can I do that?" "Where do locals actually eat?"

In response to these inquiries, the Company has planned this hyper-local pairing tour. Instead of famous establishments in tourist areas, we have chosen to collaborate with "neighborhood sushi restaurants near the winery" that locals frequent and trust. We propose a new experience, distinct from typical sightseeing, where you can discover beloved local tastes in the special space of our winery's underground tasting room.

This tour includes a presentation on the present state of Hokkaido Wine, explanations of winemaking history, an immersive virtual vineyard experience with popular 4K video, and tours of the barrel aging cellar and the secondary fermentation room for sparkling wine production, offering a rich, sensory experience. Following the winery tour, you will enjoy a casual pairing of our wines and neighborhood sushi in the underground special tasting room "Keller3." (Total duration: 110 minutes)

2. Approachable and Authentic Flavors from "Neighborhood Sushi Restaurants Near the Winery"

For the pairing experience, you can choose between "nigiri sushi" or "chirashi sushi" prepared by sushi restaurants loved by locals. This pairing with "town sushi restaurants" may offer new insights applicable to your everyday dining. To enhance your enjoyment of the wine, we will serve it at the optimal temperature in original wine glasses featuring our logo, provided by the prestigious Austrian wine glass manufacturer, Riedel. *Please select "nigiri sushi" or "chirashi sushi" when booking the tour.

3. Wines You Can Recreate at Home!

To allow you to recreate the pairing experience at home, the wines served on the day will also be available for purchase at the winery's shop.

Four types of wine paired with neighborhood sushi: "Traditional Method Hokkaido Type M," "Northern Blend 2023," "PIWI's Blend 2022," "Yoichi Harvest Kälner Special Cuvée 2020." *Suggested retail price for a total of 4 full bottles is 13,882 yen (tax included). *Wine selection may change depending on the season.

Afterwards, in the underground special tasting room "Keller3," you will enjoy a pairing of 4 types of our wines selected to complement either "nigiri sushi" or "chirashi sushi" from a neighborhood sushi restaurant. After the tasting, you are free to enjoy shopping at the wine shop, etc. *A shopping discount coupon will be provided (valid only on the day of participation).
