The Public University Corporation Shimane Prefectural University (Headquarters: Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture, President: Kazuya Yamashita) and Ohnan Kirari Energy Co., Ltd. exchanged a memorandum of understanding regarding donations based on the "Shimane Prefectural University Support Electricity Plan," a power supply service provided by the company, and held a signing ceremony on May 11.

These donations will be utilized for the enhancement of the university's education and research, including human resource development that contributes to solving regional issues. This initiative is a new industry-academia collaboration model that simultaneously promotes decarbonization and human resource development through power supply utilizing renewable energy.
