The Yokohama Archives of History signed a memorandum of understanding with Yokohama College of Commerce on June 2, 2025, to carry out a project focused on cultural tourism information dissemination by students. As a result of this project, a picture book introducing 'the Tamakusu Tree' — the symbolic tree of Yokohama Port's opening — has been completed.

Distribution: From Wednesday, April 1 onward, the book will be given to interested visitors and to those who purchase items related to the Tamakusu Tree at the Yokohama Archives of History Museum Shop & Café PORTER'S LODGE. Future plans include donating copies to kindergartens and nursery schools in Naka Ward, Yokohama, and distributing them at events.
