The Yokohama Port Opening Museum has signed a memorandum of understanding with Yokohama College of Commerce on June 2, Reiwa 7 (2025) to implement a project for information dissemination on cultural tourism by students.

We are pleased to announce that as a result of this project, a picture book introducing Yokohama's symbolic tree, "Tamakusu Tree," has been completed.

[Regarding the distribution of the picture book]

From April 1 (Wednesday) onwards, it will be given to those who wish to receive it or who purchase related products at the Yokohama Port Opening Museum's museum shop & cafe PORTER‘S LODGE. We also plan to present it to kindergartens and nurseries in Naka-ku, Yokohama City, and distribute it to event participants.
