The Yokohama Port Opening Museum signed a memorandum of understanding with Yokohama College of Commerce on June 2, 2025 (Reiwa 7), to implement a project related to information dissemination for cultural tourism by students. This time, as a result of the project, we are pleased to announce that a picture book introducing the "Tamakusu tree," a symbol tree of the Yokohama Port Opening, has been completed.

Regarding the Distribution of the Picture Book

From Wednesday, April 1st, it will be given to those who wish or to those who purchase products related to the "Tamakusu tree" at the Yokohama Port Opening Museum Museum Shop & Cafe PORTER'S LODGE. We also plan to present it to kindergartens and nurseries in Naka-ku, Yokohama City, and distribute it to event participants in the future.
