Under the slogan 'Creating Tokyo's Future Through Sports,' the Tokyo Sports Culture Foundation—the driving force behind 'Sports Field Tokyo'—is proud to announce the 'Reiwa 8 Tokyo Budokan Photo Contest.' Held at the Tokyo Budokan (Ayase, Tokyo), this contest invites the public to submit photographs capturing 'the Budokan as you envision it'—moments worth preserving through imagery.

The theme was chosen based on the idea that even the same scenery can appear differently depending on one's identity, values, and personal perspective.

Participants may submit up to three entries each. Winning entries will be selected from all submissions, and winners will receive attractive prizes.

Capture your vision of the Budokan in a single photograph! We look forward to your submissions.

The Tokyo Sports Culture Foundation is a public interest incorporated foundation established to promote and expand sports participation among Tokyo residents.

Currently, the foundation manages four metropolitan sports facilities: Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground, Tokyo Budokan, and Tokyo Aquatics Center—hosting various sports events at each location.

Additionally, the foundation operates 'SPOPITA,' Tokyo's sports information portal, disseminating comprehensive content on local sports facilities and events. It also conducts international sports exchange programs and initiatives to promote collaboration among metropolitan sports facilities in partnership with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, striving to enrich the lives of Tokyo residents through sports.

In November last year, the foundation was responsible for the preparation and operational management of the 'Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics' held in Tokyo.

Moving forward, as a core organization in Tokyo's sports administration, the foundation will continue to uphold the slogan 'Creating Tokyo's Future Through Sports,' aiming to realize 'Sports Field Tokyo'—where sports are seamlessly integrated into daily life—by creating environments where everyone can enjoy sports and fostering effective sports movements.
