We are pleased to announce that the "Minna de Tsunagou Relay Festival 2026 (Relay Fes)" will be held for two days on October 10 (Sat) and 11 (Sun), 2026, at the National Stadium. Relay Fes, which began in 2022, is an event specializing in relay races that anyone can easily participate in. This year marks its fourth occurrence, the first in two years.

Today, exactly 100 days before the event, we are announcing the key visual and the first wave of events. *The second wave of events, including new events based on ideas submitted by participants, as well as application details (entry fees, application methods, first-come-first-served basis, application page, etc.) will be announced at a later date.

Applications are scheduled to begin in mid-July!! Let's connect the baton of smiles again this year at the National Stadium!

Relay Fes is a track and field festival that anyone can easily participate in. It aims to be an event where everyone can be the star, not just the runners, but also the supporters, family and friends, volunteers supporting the event, and those experiencing track and field for the first time. The key visual expands the value of "connection," the essence of relay races, to the connection between people. It is designed so that many people, regardless of age or status, can relate to it. Certified Division: U16 Relay (4x100m Relay)

Two events will be held: U16 Boys' 4x100m Relay and U16 Girls' 4x100m Relay! For details on eligibility and application methods, please refer to the competition guidelines below.

Challenge Relay for Everyone (4x100m Relay)

Are you someone who has always wanted to run at the National Stadium? Why not form a team with your friends!? Registered athletes and non-registered participants are all welcome! This year, we will also hold the "Full Power! Challenge Relay for Everyone" for teams who want to wear spikes and challenge their records. (※ Records in the Full Power division will also be unofficial)

200+ Years Relay (4x100m Relay)

OK if the combined age of the four participants is 200 years or older! Why not form a team with friends who say, "We can still run!"?

Elementary School Relay (4x100m Relay)

This event is open to all elementary school students! Experience the excitement of a relay race and the thrill of the National Stadium with your friends!

Junior High/High School Relay (4x100m Relay)

Open to all junior high and high school students! You don't have to be on the track team to participate! Invite your friends and run your hearts out on the National Stadium track!!

Family Relay (4x100m Relay)

Who is Japan's fastest family!? Siblings, parents and children, three generations are all welcome! Make family memories! Deepen family bonds! Why not pass the baton!? This year, we will also hold the "Full Power! Family Challenge Relay for Everyone" for families who want to wear spikes and challenge their records. (※ Records in the Full Power division will also be unofficial)

Night of the Mile (4x400m Relay)

The ever-popular mile relay will be held again this year! Want to run a full lap of the National Stadium track at full speed! Recommended for those who want to experience that special feeling, sense of accomplishment, and that indescribable lactic acid.
