[Handball] Announcement of the 2026 NTA (National Training Academy)

Scene from last year's development camp. The Japan Handball Association will conduct the NTA (National Training Academy) again in fiscal year 2026. The NTA is an elite development program established as part of a medium-to-long-term strengthening plan aimed at Olympic participation and medal acquisition for both the men's and women's national teams. It plays a role in discovering promising players from all over the country and connecting them to the future strengthening of the Japan national team. In fiscal year 2026, the NTA plans a total of four development camps (one of which is for goalkeepers only) and an overseas tour. Through each camp and tour, we will nurture not only handball skills but also the 'human strength' required of a future national team player. The players selected for the 2026 NTA are as follows.
