The Japan Handball Association is pleased to announce the members selected for the first training camp of the 2026 fiscal year for the Japan Women's Youth National Team (U-18), which will be held from May 24 to May 26, 2026, at Tokyo Women's College of Physical Education in Tokyo.
This team, formed primarily from the generation that achieved runner-up status in the 2025 Youth Asia Championship, will engage in activities aimed at the 11th IHF Women's Youth (U-18) Handball World Championship, scheduled to be held in Romania from July 29 to August 9.

**11th IHF Women's Youth (U-18) Handball World Championship Draw** We are pleased to announce the draw for the 11th IHF Women's Youth (U-18) Handball World Championship, to be held in Romania from July 29, 2026. 32 countries and regions will participate in this tournament. The Japan Women's U-18 National Team has been placed in Group G, alongside Slovakia, the 2025 Youth European Championship winner, Brazil, and Angola. The preliminary round will feature 8 groups (4 teams each), with the top 2 teams from each group advancing to the main round.
