What I Found! Nanashimachi Life ~The Charm of Life and Ideals vs. Reality from the Perspective of Relocators~ (Time: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM)

An interview with four guests who relocated to Yamaguchi and Tsuwano.

We will have a candid conversation about their reasons for relocating and the charm of the areas where they currently live.

This session is packed with information that will be helpful for those interested in life in Yamaguchi and Tsuwano, and those considering relocation.

Motomi Matsudo (Yamaguchi City)

Moved from Tokyo to Ato, Yamaguchi City as an I-turn. Formerly a regional revitalization volunteer, she settled down after her term and now lives by engaging in diverse livelihoods such as producing processed foods and working as an inbound guide. Hikaru Hagino (Tsuwano Town)

After a career as a salaryman in Tokyo (sales and customs specialist at NYK Line), he returned to his family temple as a Buddhist priest. While serving as the chief priest, he is involved in local activities such as promoting Mölkky and working as a hot spring sommelier. Haruto Uehara (Hofu City)

Originally from Chiba Prefecture. Relocated to Hofu City as a regional revitalization volunteer. While in charge of information dissemination at the tourism association, he also operates the local media "Hofumoura" on his own. Miyuki Oshiro (Hagi City)

Originally from Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Discovered Hagi City during a cross-Japan trip searching for a relocation destination.
