CTCSP Signs First Domestic Reseller Agreement with U.S.-Based Doppel

CTCSP Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Katsuya Ue, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; abbreviated as CTCSP), a group company of ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation (abbreviated as CTC) specializing in the sales of IT equipment and software, has signed Japan's first reseller agreement with Doppel, Inc. (Head Office: City of Industry, California, USA; CEO & Co-Founder: Kevin Tian). This partnership marks the launch of 'Doppel,' an AI-native social engineering defense platform designed to counter increasingly sophisticated phishing and impersonation attacks enabled by advancements in artificial intelligence.

The service will primarily target enterprises that engage with customers through web platforms and applications, such as financial services, e-commerce platforms, and membership-based websites.

In recent years, phishing, phone scams, and social media fraud—attacks that exploit human trust and psychology—have become increasingly severe, fueled by the widespread adoption of generative AI. Attack methods have evolved from isolated email-based 'point' attacks to coordinated 'surface' attacks across multiple channels, including social media, advertisements, and messaging apps. Traditional channel-specific defenses are no longer sufficient. These threats are no longer merely the result of individual carelessness but represent strategic business risks that can impact operational continuity and brand reputation.

Doppel monitors and visualizes threats such as phishing, detecting unauthorized transmissions, fraudulent redirections, and the proliferation of scam websites and impersonated accounts. It supports rapid mitigation by facilitating the removal or deactivation of these threats.

Using its Digital Risk Protection (DRP) solution, Doppel continuously monitors websites, social media platforms, SMS, app stores, and the dark web. AI correlates detected threat signals to visualize the full scope of ongoing attacks.

When threats are detected, AI automatically collects and organizes the necessary evidence for takedown requests and submits them to platform operators such as social media companies and telecom providers. This automation streamlines traditionally manual processes—including analysis, evidence gathering, and application drafting—reducing operational labor costs and minimizing the risk of application errors or rejections.

Additionally, Doppel’s Email Security solution uses AI to automatically analyze email content, trace suspicious links and sender origins, and take preventive actions to block follow-up attacks.

Doppel also offers a Human Risk Management (HRM) solution that combines employee training and education based on real-world attack templates with simulations of voice calls and SMS-based attacks. By addressing both technical vulnerabilities and human behaviors—such as misjudgment and cognitive errors—the platform enables continuous, comprehensive defense.

The CTC Group will serve as the reseller for this service and will also provide value-added services, including setup support from implementation through to operational phases, tailored to customer needs.

This landmark reseller agreement was achieved through collaboration with Sozo Ventures, a U.S.-based venture capital firm, as part of the 'North America Partnership Program' (NAPP)※1—an initiative by CTC to build strong partnerships with overseas startups and co-create new business opportunities.

Moving forward, the CTC Group will continue its global discovery efforts to identify and evaluate cutting-edge overseas solutions, contributing to the enhancement of digital trust for Japanese enterprises.
