Central University Distinguished Associate Professor Wu Derong of the Department of Atmospheric Sciences stated today in the "Heavenly Secrets Leaked Classroom" column of the Climate Application Promotion Foundation that the latest European model simulation shows that starting today, the frontal system will weaken, with occasional brief showers in localized areas. Temperatures will rise across the island, with comfortable conditions in the north and slightly warm in the central and southern parts during the day.

Wu Derong pointed out that the latest model simulations show that from tomorrow until the 14th, the southern air mass will be dominant, and Taiwan's weather will be stable, with daytime temperatures feeling 'hot like midsummer.' Prolonged high temperatures are expected, requiring attention to sun protection and adequate hydration.

Wu Derong mentioned that a weak frontal system is expected to approach on the 15th and 16th, but its impact will be very slight. Different national models still show discrepancies and are continuously being adjusted, so close observation is necessary.

Furthermore, Wu Derong noted that various national models are continuously simulating the development of 'tropical disturbances' southeast of Guam starting this weekend. Although there are differences in the simulated tracks, none are expected to threaten Taiwan, which is consistent with climate data indicating 'April typhoons do not invade Taiwan.'
