The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release this morning stating that Chen Ming-chi hosted a reception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the evening of the 8th to welcome the US 'United Pacific Innovation Alliance' (UPIA) unmanned maritime systems industry delegation.

Chen Ming-chi stated in his speech that in recent years, the economic and security strategic partnership between Taiwan and the US has continued to deepen, and both are important partners in building resilient and competitive supply chains. Close industrial cooperation can not only create economic prosperity but also help promote peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. He welcomed UPIA's visit to further promote Taiwan-US unmanned systems industry cooperation.

Eric Du, founder of UPIA, mentioned in his speech that the delegation's trip focuses on understanding Taiwan's industrial needs, sharing their professional technologies, and more importantly, strengthening cooperation with local Taiwanese businesses, looking forward to jointly promoting and connecting close supply chain partnerships.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it welcomes UPIA's visit, which provides excellent momentum for Taiwan and the US to jointly build unmanned systems and a non-red supply chain. Taiwan will continue to deepen its comprehensive partnership with the United States in various fields, jointly maintaining and promoting peace, stability, and prosperity for Taiwan, the US, and the region.
