TSMC's cash dividend of NT$6.00003573 per share for the third quarter of 2025 went ex-dividend on March 17, 2026, and successfully completed ex-dividend recovery on the same day, repeating the 'instant ex-dividend recovery' scenario. This pushed the record for ex-dividend recovery on the same day to 21 times.

TSMC's total dividend amount of NT$155.595 billion was distributed today. Wei Zhe-jia, who held 7,217,009 shares in February, is estimated to receive NT$43.3 million. The National Development Fund of the Executive Yuan, holding 1.6537 billion shares of TSMC, received NT$9.922 billion.

Morris Chang, who held 125 million shares of TSMC before his retirement in June 2018, is estimated to receive approximately NT$750 million if he has not disposed of his holdings after retirement.

Two weeks after the US and Iran announced a ceasefire, Israel launched a fierce attack on Lebanon, and Iran stated that negotiations with the US were 'unreasonable,' raising market concerns about escalating tensions in the Middle East. This caused stock markets in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan to fluctuate and fall. TSMC's stock price opened lower and continued to fall, once reaching NT$1930, a decrease of NT$20, with its market capitalization falling to NT$50.04 trillion. (Edited by Lin Shu-yuan) 1150409
