Tree Collapses in Taichung, Damaging Roadside Vehicles; No Injuries Reported

The Taichung City Police Bureau's Second Precinct stated that at approximately 6 AM, a tree fell at the intersection of Nanjing East Road and Fule Street in the North District. Officers were dispatched to the scene to handle the situation, implement traffic control, and cordon off the area to ensure the safety of passing pedestrians and vehicles.

The police reported that the fallen tree damaged one vehicle parked by the roadside. Fortunately, no injuries were sustained. Relevant authorities were promptly notified to assist in clearing the fallen tree. Cleanup operations were completed around 9:30 AM. The police also notified the vehicle owner to understand the situation and proceed with subsequent arrangements as required.

The Second Precinct reminded the public that weather conditions have been changing significantly recently, with frequent rain. It is advised to pay close attention to environmental safety when passing through sections with many trees.
