Lane 57 of Ziguan Road in Kaohsiung Opens to Traffic, Improving Transportation Network

Lane 57 of Ziguan Road is a crucial livelihood alley for the local area. In the past, because some sections were not developed according to the urban plan, the road was narrow and could not be fully connected, causing extreme inconvenience for the daily commuting of local residents and the access of disaster relief vehicles. To enhance the quality of the living environment, the city government invested funds to undertake the development project.

The New Construction Office of the Kaohsiung City Public Works Bureau issued a press release today stating that Lane 57 of Ziguan Road in Ziguan District has recently been completed and opened to traffic. The development project connects Ziguan Road to Lane 39 of Ping'an Street, effectively upgrading the local community's transportation network.

The New Construction Office explained that the length of the road development is approximately 149.4 meters, with a road width of 8 meters. The construction included road paving, drainage ditch improvements, and the painting of traffic markings. With the completion and opening of the project, the originally narrow alley section has been transformed into a spacious and smooth planned road.

The New Construction Office stated that the city government continues to commit to optimizing road quality and clearing bottleneck sections in various districts. They hope to link local living spaces through these efforts, constructing a safer, more convenient, and livable environment.
