Hsieh Kuo-liang Promotes God-Teammate Card; Tung Tzu-wei Pushes Family Movie Theater

Through a video shared with citizens, Keelung Mayor Hsieh Kuo-liang announced that the city has implemented 'district-wide daytime designated temporary childcare' services. By providing the 'Childcare Baby Bag 2.0' and 'God-Teammate Summon Card' upon birth registration, the city offers respite services for new families. Hsieh said that as a parent, he deeply understands the hardships of raising a child. The 'God-Teammate Summon Card' provides a 4-hour daytime temporary childcare discount, aiming to let Keelung parents know that on their parenting journey, 'the city government is your god-teammate.'

Wu Yu-chieh, Director of the Children and Youth Affairs Department of the Keelung City Government, pointed out that starting January 1st, families of newborns can receive the upgraded 'Childcare Baby Bag 2.0' when registering the birth. The contents include a soothing doll and a 'pull-back boat.' Each 'God-Teammate Summon Card' set contains 4 discount vouchers (totaling 4 hours), which parents can use to offset costs when utilizing daytime temporary childcare services at various district family centers or grandparent-grandchild centers.

Yesterday, Tung Tzu-wei held a 'Family Movie Theater' event at the Roger Tianmu Community in Dingnei. He stated in a press release today that the successful hosting of this event is thanks to the assistance of DPP Legislator Chen Pei-yu in connecting with the Fubon Cultural & Educational Foundation's momo mini family movie theater. He emphasized that elections don't always have to be about serious attacks; the key is to bring hope to the city.

Tung Tzu-wei mentioned that he recently proposed a 'birth, care, and nurture' childcare policy, which includes a starting newborn subsidy of 160,000 NTD (including a 100,000 NTD central government subsidy), promoting one public daycare per junior high school district, pioneering a 1,000 NTD monthly childcare voucher, and a 10,000 NTD enrollment gift for primary, junior, and senior high schools. He promised to listen to the people and gradually improve and strengthen existing family infrastructure.
