The CWA issued a press release stating that in addition to 'Mobile Weather Station Accompanying the Pilgrimage,' it will combine the popular fixed-point on-site weather forecasts and the Baishatun customized webpage service from last year with real-time mobile observation and online interactive services.

The CWA said it designed the 'Weather Buddy Walks With You' activity, where CWA employees will carry mobile weather stations to observe weather conditions in real-time as they follow the pilgrimage procession. This information will be presented on the Baishatun customized webpage (https://gov.tw/Mfp), allowing pilgrims to access first-hand weather information anytime, anywhere via the internet.

Furthermore, the CWA stated that the weather team will provide weather forecasts and the latest meteorological information at the Gongtian Temple square on the morning of the 12th at 10:30 AM and at the Beichen Police Station of the Beigang Branch of the Yunlin County Police Bureau on the morning of the 16th at 8:30 AM.

The CWA mentioned that on the 12th, it will also set up a booth within Baishatun village for public interaction. During the pilgrimage, staff will hold 'Weather Check' signs, mingling with the crowds to directly convey forecast information and interact with the public. Limited edition custom souvenirs, 'UV-changing keychains,' will be distributed on fixed booth days and during the pilgrimage procession. The color change of the keychain under UV exposure will serve as a reminder for the public to pay attention to sun protection. (Editor: Li Ming-tsung) 1150410
