Pakistan: Iran President Confirms Tehran's Participation in April 10 Talks with US

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's office, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received confirmation from Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi during a phone call that Tehran will participate in talks scheduled for April 10 in Islamabad. The phone call lasted over 45 minutes. Sharif had previously announced on social media platform X that Islamabad would host delegations from Washington and Tehran for 'further negotiations to reach an agreement resolving all disputes.' The US has not yet confirmed its participation. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that 'nothing is set in stone until the President or the White House makes a formal announcement.' The Prime Minister's office statement reiterated that Raisi 'confirmed Iran's participation in the talks to be held in Islamabad.'
