Mie Honda Heat to Host Final Home Game with Mie Prefecture Specialties! Ise Tuna Filleting Show & 'Itadaki An-Donut' Serving Decided

Mie Honda Heat will hold a special hospitality event featuring local specialties from Mie Prefecture for visitors at the NTT Japan Rugby League One 2025-26 DIVISION 1 Round 18 match (vs Toyota Verblitz) on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

This event will feature an Ise Tuna filleting show, showcasing "Ise Maguro," a representative seafood of Mie Prefecture, along with the serving of "Itadaki An-Donuts," which are gaining attention as a new specialty of Mie Prefecture.

This match will be Mie Honda Heat's last home game held in Suzuka before relocating their home base. It is a special hospitality event designed to express gratitude to the fans and local community who have supported the team, conveying the charm of Mie's "food."

The serving of "Ise Maguro" and "Itadaki An-Donuts" will be an event for a total of 600 winners selected by lottery at the venue. Please check the event guide below for details.

"Ise Maguro" is a brand of tuna carefully raised in the rich natural environment of Ise City, Mie Prefecture.

It is farmed under strict management, and a major feature is that it has less "excess fat" compared to general farmed tuna. The flesh is firm, allowing you to enjoy the rich umami inherent to bluefin tuna.

On the day, we will prepare an overwhelming 50kg to 60kg class Ise Tuna! The "Ise Tuna Filleting Show," where a craftsman carves it on the spot, will be a spectacular performance showcasing skilled techniques right before your eyes.

The freshly filleted Ise Tuna is the "authentic taste" that Ise boasts. Please enjoy it as sashimi.

■ Serving of Mie Prefecture's New Specialty: "Itadaki An-Donut"

"Itadaki An-Donut" is a new specialty product developed by the Komono Town Tourism Association with the product concept of "supporting those who aim for their own 'peak,'" aiming for the grand "peak" of "boosting all of Mie Prefecture."

Goals (peaks) in work and life vary from person to person. This product was born as a souvenir packed with the charm of Mie Prefecture, embodying the universal feeling that anyone aiming for any "peak" gets hungry during their challenge.
