Sponsorship of "INID (Insurance Ideathon) 2026," a Student Idea Competition Specializing in the Insurance Sector

(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hideyuki Fukuda; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce its sponsorship of "INID2026" (Insurance Ideathon 2026), an insurance idea competition for Japanese university and graduate students, with the final competition scheduled for May 30, 2026. This marks the second consecutive year of the Company's sponsorship.

INID is a competition with the theme of "Insurance Innovation," aiming to explore new possibilities in the insurance industry through the free ideas of students.

■ Background of Sponsorship

In recent years, the role required of insurance has diversified due to changes in the social environment and advancements in technology. In this context, new ideas that are not bound by existing frameworks are demanded.

Through this sponsorship, the Company aims to strengthen its ties with universities and research institutions, and contribute to value creation through the integration of new insights and existing insurance businesses, by engaging with next-generation talent.

■ Details of Sponsorship

The Company will support the holding of "INID2026" by contributing sponsorship funds. Furthermore, the top team selected through INID will participate in the world competition (scheduled to be held in Singapore), and the Company will continue to support their activities on site, as in the previous year, through Mitsui Bussan Group's overseas base (Mitsui Bussan Pana Harrison Pte. Ltd).
