4th Edition by Popular Demand! "Cream Soda in Yakage" Begins May 23 in Okayama Prefecture

The Yakage Town Tourism and Exchange Promotion Organization (Yakage DMO) is launching the 4th "Cream Soda in Yakage" event on May 23 (Saturday), featuring original cream sodas developed by 34 shops across Yakage Town. Since its debut in 2023, the event has expanded in scale every year, receiving significant positive feedback. This year, the main visuals have been refreshed, and the number of participating shops has reached a record high of 34. The event period has also been extended to approximately two and a half months, including the summer vacation season, evolving to be accessible to more visitors.

Continuing from last year, a stamp rally will be held, and original masking tape capsule toys (gacha) will be sold. Through this empowered event, visitors are invited to enjoy unique cream sodas and stroll through the retro streets of Yakage.

■ Stamp Rally with Original Goods!

The stamp rally will be held from May 23 (Saturday) to August 2 (Sunday), 2026.

- Get 1 stamp for every 100 yen (excluding tax).
- 20 stamps (2,000 yen including tax): Original stickers for the first 1,500 people.
- 50 stamps (5,000 yen including tax): Cooling towel in an original bottle for the first 500 people.

* Prizes can be claimed at "Yakage Visitor Center Tonya."

■ Original Gacha and Merchandise!

During the same period, original gacha toys and merchandise will be sold at "Yakage Visitor Center Tonya."

■ Official Instagram Follow & Post Campaign

From May 23 (Saturday) to August 2 (Sunday), 2026, follow the official Instagram account and post with the hashtag "#CreamSodaInYakage2026". 15 winners will be chosen by lottery to receive gift certificates usable at participating shops.
