Atelier Nit exhibits 'Excitement' at Taito Designers Village!

Atelier Nit, an art hub operated by the FUKU-WARAI Association (Headquarters: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kei Takahashi), which expands choices for people with disabilities and creates new value, will participate in the 'Designer's Village Alumni Market' held at the Taito Designers Village from Friday, May 22, to Sunday, May 24, 2026. Based in the 1F showroom, they will deliver a creative space filled with colorful art produced by their members, in collaboration with professional artists.

■ Background: A 'Craftsmanship Festival' celebrating 20 years

'Taito Designers Village' (commonly known as 'Desavire'), which has produced numerous creators as a base for supporting manufacturing in Taito Ward, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. This 'Designer's Village Alumni Market' is a special event where graduates from diverse fields including fashion, jewelry, and leather goods will gather.

Atelier Nit has set the theme of this event as 'Connections born from excitement!' and will decorate the 1F showroom with special art garlands made by members, creating an overwhelming art space that thrills all visitors.

1. Artist Shunsuke Nishida × Atelier Nit 'Special Art Photo Spot'

The main feature of this event is a joint work by multifaceted artist Shunsuke Nishida and the artists of Atelier Nit. Energetic art painted on a huge canvas appears as a photo spot to welcome visitors. It provides a unique creative space where professional sensibilities and the pure expressions of the members fuse together.

2. Workshops connecting 'Loss Art' to the future

They have prepared experience menus that both adults and children can get absorbed in.
- Upcycle Collage Making: A collage experience that breathes new life into 'Loss Art' (scraps and fragments) generated during the production process.
- Original Mask Making (Produced by Shunsuke Nishida): Under the direction of Mr. Nishida, you can create your own artistic mask.

3. Local circulation market by 'En-no-ki Shop'

In the sales corner, items that shine with the sensibilities of the members will be sold, such as original paintings from the atelier and one-of-a-kind 'Art Maneki-neko & Fuku-daruma'. Furthermore, 'body-friendly baked goods' made by welfare workshops within Taito Ward will also be gathered.
