[Event Report] Approx. 10,000 people attended! 'City Green Fes. 2026' concludes at Shibuya Miyashita Park

The Meiji-dori Miyashita Park Shopping Association, City Green, and HOKULEA, Inc. held the urban ethical festival 'City Green Fes. 2026' at Shibuya Miyashita Park on May 23 (Sat) and 24 (Sun), 2026.

Under this year's theme, 'RE:WILDING TOKYO,' the festival combined cutting-edge wellness experiences, sustainable markets, and music. It created 'urban white space' under the sky of Shibuya, which is usually filled with information and technology, drawing approximately 10,000 visitors over the two days.

■ Wellness & Running Experiences
The festival featured popular programs, including yoga sessions by the globally popular brand 'alo,' the 'WELL-FIT CLUB' led by industry professionals, and self-defense seminars by a former world kickboxing champion.

■ Environmental Actions in the City
An urban special cleanup was conducted (collecting 11.17 kg of waste), and a special plogging event with 100 people was organized in collaboration with Women's Health.

■ Brand Collaborations
Companies including Asahi Soft Drinks, Sekisui House, and KEEN hosted booths, promoting the idea of circularity through sampling and workshops.

■ Market & Workshops
About 20 carefully selected sustainable brands participated. Workshops featured diverse content such as ping-pong table exhibitions, bamboo light crafts, and screen printing experiences.

■ Circular Operation Results
The total waste generated was measured and limited to just 33.4 kg. The event also utilized off-grid power via solar panels and portable power stations. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the C.W. Nicol Afan Woodland Trust.
