Shiosai RADIO Key Visual by Mashu Oki
3710Lab (Minato Lab / Representative Director: Yasuhiro Taguchi), a general incorporated association that designs and provides next-generation education under the theme of "connecting the ocean and people through learning," launched the comprehensive online museum "Museum of Ocean Nexus (MOON)" on March 3, 2026, with a grant from The Nippon Foundation to learn about and deepen the connection between the ocean and people.
In this museum, "Shiosai RADIO," which delivers playlists of songs inspired by the ocean, is open as a permanent exhibition, opening up engagement with the ocean through music. It is an attempt to establish the hard-to-see "connection with the ocean" through listening.
◼︎What is Shiosai RADIO?
'Shiosai RADIO' is an audio content published as one of the permanent exhibitions of MOON.
We deliver playlists selected by musicians and DJs with the ocean in mind, along with interviews with the guests. Using their relationship with the ocean as a clue, you can enjoy content that is not usually heard, including the intent behind the song selection, how to enjoy the playlist, and even suggestions about the relationship between the ocean and music.
Currently, up to Vol.06 has been released, and we plan to update it bi-weekly in the future.
In addition, the jacket illustration for each episode is handled by illustrator Mashu Oki. We have them draw pictures that resonate with the worldview of the playlists.
The project planning was handled by Ou Hanazawa, who is also in charge of interviewing the guests.
'Shiosai RADIO' spreads diverse images of the ocean.
Please enjoy it.

What is MOON?
The website "Museum of Ocean Nexus MOON" is a comprehensive online ocean museum to deeply understand the connection between the ocean and people, and to discover its relationships and value.
While the ocean is boundless nature, it is also the place where we live, and an existence that nurtures our activities such as culture, memory, and livelihood. MOON is a museum that re-examines such diverse aspects of the ocean and creates a place that connects the past to the present, and to the future.
Toward a future symbiotic society with the ocean, MOON digitally archives cultures, materials, expressions, and records related to the ocean, preserving and making them available in a form accessible to everyone. Furthermore, as a platform for exhibitions, projects, and learning spaces, it creates opportunities for everyone from children to adults to think, feel, and enjoy the ocean.
MOON aims to be a museum that shares the knowledge and joy of the ocean with everyone, envisioning a future living alongside the ocean.
