This new standard requires an efficiency improvement of approximately 11.4% to 15% compared to the 2014 standard (Second). Currently, out of approximately 3.8 million distribution transformers operating in Japan, about 2.1 million units (about 60% of the total) are aging equipment that has exceeded the recommended replacement period (20 years or more). With the legal enforcement in 2026, demand for replacing this aging equipment is expected to surge, while there are concerns about tightening production capacity and longer lead times due to domestic manufacturers switching to new products. ■ Key Features of TATUNG's "T-NEX Series" 1.
