Commemorating the 43rd Saio Festival: Limited Edition Goshuin Designed by Yuki Koishikawa

At Take Shrine, where the Meiwa Tourism Trading Company promotes regional revitalization with local residents, a Tamagushi-hoten (offering of sacred branches) by the Saio will be held during the 43rd Saio Festival on June 6 (Sat). To commemorate this, a limited edition 'Saio Festival Goshuin' designed by graphic artist Yuki Koishikawa will be distributed in limited quantities. Take Shrine (2757-2 Saiku, Meiwa-cho, Taki-gun, Mie Prefecture) was quiet with its shrine office closed until 2020. Since 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the local community has taken the lead in cleaning the grounds, managing flower water basins, and distributing Goshuin. Through collaboration with the Meiwa Tourism Trading Company, a flow of tourists from outside the prefecture has been established. Since 2022, the Meiwa Tourism Trading Company has begun operating to solve regional issues faced by Take Shrine through 'tourism' as a means for sustainable shrine management. Together with the shrine's parishioners, they have connected to regional revitalization and the expansion of the 'relationship population' unique to tourism through Goshuin planning, information dissemination, and the utilization of the shrine forest. This limited edition Goshuin was designed by Yuki Koishikawa, who is widely active as a designer and graphic artist. After attending the 'Saiku Votive Noh' in November 2023 and visiting Take Shrine, she was deeply moved by its history and pure atmosphere, and has previously designed the 'Saiku Ema' for the shrine.
