The Japan Management Association (JMA, Chairman: Masami Nakamura) successfully concluded the '7th Kyushu Heatstroke Prevention Expo' on June 24–25, 2026, at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A (Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City). The exhibition welcomed a record 64 companies across 103 booths (Kyushu Heatstroke Prevention Expo only), with visitor numbers rising significantly by 185% year-on-year to 11,808 (including co-located exhibitions).

In recent years, dangerous heatwaves exceeding 40°C have occurred across Japan, increasing the importance of heatstroke prevention. Additionally, revisions to the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations now require strengthened heatstroke countermeasures in workplaces.

In response, this exhibition promoted heat resilience by showcasing products and services primarily for businesses, while also providing valuable information for the general public.

Aimed at creating comfortable living environments and safe working conditions, the event featured hands-on experiences of products such as 'heatstroke-prevention cooling goods,' 'cooling agents,' and 'Peltier-type water-cooled garments.' Visitors also experienced large-scale industrial products tailored for manufacturing (factories), construction, and logistics sites, including 'large air coolers' and 'heatstroke-prevention air showers,' which received positive feedback.

*Co-located exhibitions: Total attendance includes visitors to the 'Kyushu Home & Building Show 2026,' '6th Kyushu Construction & Development Expo,' '5th Kyushu Infrastructure Maintenance Expo,' '6th Kyushu Disaster Risk Mitigation Expo,' '1st Kyushu Civil Engineering & Construction DX/Systems/Tools Expo,' '7th Kyushu Heatstroke Prevention Expo,' '3rd Kyushu Occupational Safety & Health Expo,' and 'Kyushu-East Asia International Logistics Expo 2026.'

The next edition is scheduled for June 23–24, 2027, at Marine Messe Fukuoka. Applications for exhibitors will open in early July 2026.

Additionally, in Tokyo, the '12th Heatstroke Prevention Expo' will be held from July 15 (Wed) to 17 (Fri), 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight East Halls 7 and 8.

JMA aims to promote public awareness of proper heatstroke and heat resilience measures through this exhibition, ultimately working toward creating environments where everyone can work and live safely and comfortably.
