The Japan Management Association (JMA), led by Chairman Masami Nakamura, will host the 7th Kyushu Heatstroke Countermeasure Exhibition on June 24–25, 2026, at Marine Messe Fukuoka Hall A, Fukuoka City.

With a record-breaking 64 exhibitors and 103 booths, the event expects to draw 10,000 visitors, including those for concurrent exhibitions.

Following the Japan Meteorological Agency's official adoption of the term 'extreme heat day' for temperatures reaching 40°C or higher starting this April, such temperatures have become routine, posing significant risks to daily life and labor environments. Last June, revisions to the Industrial Safety and Health Regulations made it mandatory for companies to strengthen heatstroke prevention measures.

In this context, the exhibition will promote heatstroke mitigation by offering information useful to both businesses and the public. To ensure comfortable living and safe working environments, the venue will feature hands-on demonstrations of cooling products, ice packs, Peltier-type cold water circulation suits, as well as industrial products like large-scale cooling fans and heatstroke prevention air showers for manufacturing, construction, and logistics sites.

By holding the event in Fukuoka, an Asian gateway, the JMA aims to actively disseminate information on heatstroke mitigation and safety to the western Japan region and neighboring Asian markets.
