In recent years, she has expanded her career into acting, appearing in NHK's morning drama 'Kamkam Everybody,' and starring in 'Joshi Kousei no Mudazukai' (TV Asahi) and 'Edo Moazelle' (Yomiuri TV). She currently hosts regular programs such as 'News Okaeri' (ABC TV) and 'Hirupa!' (TV Tokyo), among others.

Co-founded the comedy group 'B-21 SPECIAL' on January 21, 1986 (a lucky day), alongside Mr. Chin and David Ito. Gained popularity at debut for his good looks and rapid-fire comedic timing, along with bold, aggressive punchlines. Now active individually as a regular MC on various programs and frequent guest on one-off shows. Also runs a talent management agency and a fitness gym, and is well known for his diverse hobbies including furniture design and home renovation.
