NTT Docomo's 'BakuMore Exhibition' Wins Grand Prize at the 12th JACE Event Awards

The Japan Association of Event Industries & Sports (JACE) held the 12th JACE Event Awards ceremony on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Toranomon Hills Forum.

The JACE Event Awards, established in 2014, are held annually to recognize events held both in Japan and internationally. This year, from a total of 174 entries, 'BakuMore Exhibition,' a photo exhibition event by NTT Docomo to raise awareness about the 'SNS information leakage problem,' was awarded the Grand Prize, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award (Japan Event Grand Prix).

Grand Prize: Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award (Japan Event Grand Prix) - Title: BakuMore Exhibition - Organizer: NTT DOCOMO, INC. - Outline: A photo exhibition event to raise awareness of the 'SNS information leakage problem.' - Prize Money: 300,000 JPY In her acceptance speech, Mami Fukuoka of NTT Docomo explained that the 'BakuMore Exhibition' is a project that combines the concepts of photos 'looking good' (moreru) and information 'leaking' (moreru). She stated that their efforts to use 'fun' and 'surprise' as an entry point to naturally engage people with a theme that is usually difficult to attract interest in had paid off. She also mentioned plans to expand their initiatives to include simulation games and educational materials.

Event Professional Award - Title: Movie 'Exit 8' Tokyo Metro Escape Game - Organizers: Metro Ad Agency Inc., Toho Co., Ltd., STORY Inc., ESCAPE LLC. - Outline: A puzzle-solving tour event set across the entire Tokyo Metro network. - Prize Money: 200,000 JPY Keita Sasaki of Metro Ad Agency mentioned the challenges of managing the event, which attracted nearly 100,000 visitors, and expressed his honor that the behind-the-scenes efforts were recognized by certified event managers.

New and Special Awards From this year, a 'Space Design Award' was newly established to recognize works with excellent spatial design. The award was given to 'Marunouchi Street Park 2025 Summer,' organized by the Otemachi-Marunouchi-Yurakucho Area Management Association (Prize Money: 100,000 JPY). A special award was also presented to the 'Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan' by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition.
