The 61st Lake Towada Lake Festival will be held for one day only on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The venue, Lake Towada Yasumiya, features carefully preserved nature, and the fireworks launched into its crystal-clear night sky will once again grace the finale of this year's event. Applications for the 'Message Fireworks,' which deliver your thoughts with your voice, are currently being accepted on the official page of the Lake Towada Lake Festival.
With little artificial light at the event venue, the vivid colors of the fireworks blooming in the night sky are exceptional. The powerful fireworks launched from right near the viewing area can be used for a special time just for you and the person you want to express your feelings to. As a special project this year, we will play your own recorded voice message inside the venue before launching the commemorative fireworks. From words of gratitude you rarely have the chance to say, to anniversary celebrations, declarations of new challenges, and even marriage proposals. Why not send those feelings on your voice to a loved one along with the fireworks of the Lake Towada Lake Festival? You can apply for as little as one firework shell. We also offer plans such as Starmines. We look forward to receiving your voice messages.

After playing the voice message we receive from you, we will launch the fireworks.

*Depending on stormy weather, etc., it may be postponed to Sunday, June 14, or canceled. When applying for Message Fireworks, please indicate whether you wish to have them launched in the event of a postponement.

Types of Fireworks
1. One No. 4 shell (Voice message of 5 seconds or less)
We will launch one No. 4 shell, which reaches a height of about 160m and a diameter of about 120m. Limited to 30 shots in total for 1 and 2.
2. Three consecutive No. 4 shells (Voice message of 5 seconds or less)
Three consecutive No. 4 shells with the composition left to the pyrotechnician. Limited to 30 shots in total for 1 and 2.
3. Starmine S (Voice message of 10 seconds or less)
We will launch one set of Starmine with the composition left to the pyrotechnician. Limited to 2 sets.
4. Starmine M (Voice message of 15 seconds or less)
A Starmine with a slightly luxurious composition left to the pyrotechnician. Limited to 1 set.
5. Starmine L (Voice message of 20 seconds or less)
A grand Starmine with a composition left to the pyrotechnician! Limited to 1 set.
