Vibram and the UTMB World Series began their partnership in 2007, reaching the major milestone of 20 years in 2027.

Through nearly two decades of collaboration, Vibram has supported trail runners worldwide with sole technology offering high grip and durability. Feedback from races and athletes is incorporated into product development, contributing to the growth of trail running.

In Japan, the "Kaga Spa Endurance100 by UTMB" will be held from June 18 to 21, 2026, in the Yamanaka Onsen area of Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture. This event is part of the official UTMB World Series races, gathering many trail runners from Japan and abroad. This will be the second edition in Japan, and further excitement is expected.

About the "Innovation Mobile Lab (Vibram Innovation Mobile Lab)" and its Initiatives

The "Vibram Innovation Mobile Lab" is Vibram's sustainability initiative that provides runners with knowledge on proper shoe maintenance and long-term use. At the event venue, athletes and visitors can bring shoes needing repair and receive consultations from specialized staff. Through this initiative, Vibram aims to promote longer product use and reduce environmental impact in sports.

This time, Vibram will set up a "Vibram Innovation Mobile Lab" booth in the EXPO area during the "Kaga Spa Endurance100 by UTMB" and offer consultations and acceptance for shoe repair services as part of this initiative. Craftsmen from the shoe repair specialty store "Rinkutsu" will be invited to the venue to provide advice on sole replacement and repairs.
