Watami no Takushoku, the meal delivery service operated by Watami Co., Ltd., has revamped its signature products, including the popular "Magokoro Okazu" (heartfelt side dishes) bentos.

This renewal introduces a total of 10 types of dashi (Japanese soup stock) to create a deep, complex flavor that customers can enjoy daily without fatigue. The dashi selection includes Watami's original "Kasane Dashi," as well as "Watami no Shiro-dashi," "Iriko Dashi," "Konbu Dashi," "Ago Dashi," "Kai Dashi," "Shiro-dashi supervised by Kagaya General Chef," "Chuka Dashi," "Chicken and Onion Dashi," and "Katsuo Dashi." By layering the umami from these various ingredients, the company has achieved a satisfying flavor while keeping sodium levels in check.

To allow more people to experience the new flavors, Watami is launching a "2-Week Trial Campaign," offering two meals for free within a 10-day period. The campaign runs from the week of June 1, 2026, through the week of June 22, 2026.

Watami no Takushoku has achieved the No. 1 sales share in the meal delivery market for the elderly and infirm for 15 consecutive years. Additionally, as part of its commitment to SDGs, the company actively promotes the recycling of its bento containers.
