Life Log Technology, Inc. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shigeyuki Tanahashi; hereinafter "Our Company"), developer and provider of the meal, exercise, and weight management application (hereinafter "app") "Calomeal," and Meiji Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Katsuya Matsuda; hereinafter "Meiji") are pleased to announce the results of a 29-day joint monitor survey conducted by combining Meiji's protein powder "Savas Weight Down" with "Calomeal."

In this survey, 79 male participants aged 30-50 with a BMI of 25 or higher and an intention to diet were asked to continue recording their meals and exercise on "Calomeal" and drink "Savas Weight Down." As a result, it was revealed that 92.4% of participants gained confidence that they "could continue dieting in the future." Furthermore, a cross-analysis of survey responses and actual recorded data showed that those who were more "conscious" of their daily meals deepened their confidence in continuation, demonstrating a "virtuous cycle of success" brought about by recording and a protein habit.

● Survey Result Highlights

Confidence in being able to "continue dieting" increased by 17.7 points from before the start, reaching 92.4%.

93.4% of those who were "conscious" of meal management gained confidence. The sense of managing their diet positively shifted their mindset.

85.7% of those who faced the biggest hurdles of "difficulty in continuing" and "stress from dietary restrictions" were satisfied with the product.

Protein intake ratio (per 1,000 kcal) improved by 8.1% while maintaining calorie intake.

● Survey Overview

Survey Name

"Savas Weight Down" x "Calomeal" Joint Monitor Survey

Period

March 19, 2026 - April 16, 2026 (Monitor period: 29 days / Pre-measurement period: 7 days)

Target

Male users aged 30-50 with a BMI of 25 or higher who use the health management app "Calomeal" (with an intention to diet)

Number of Valid Responses

79 participants (completed post-survey)

Implementation Method

During the period, participants drank "Savas Weight Down" at any time of day and recorded their three meals in "Calomeal." Pre- and post-surveys were conducted via the web.

Analysis Items

Meal and nutrient records, exercise records, product consumption logs, pre/post surveys (awareness, confidence, satisfaction, purchase intention, etc.)

● Background and Objectives of the Survey

Men aged 30-50 with a tendency towards obesity (BMI 25 or higher) often have an intention to lose weight triggered by health checkups, but tend to face challenges such as "difficulty in continuing dietary restrictions or exercise" due to their busy daily lives and lifestyles.

Meiji and Our Company conducted this monitor survey to understand the changes in awareness and behavior brought about by combining "easy protein intake" with "visualization of meals through an app" for this middle-aged and older male demographic, using both subjective data (surveys) and objective data (actual recorded logs).

● Details of Main Survey Results

1 "Confidence" in continuing dieting significantly improved, with 80% of those lacking confidence shifting their mindset

In this survey, 92.4% (73 out of 79 participants) responded that they "could continue dieting in the future" after the monitor period, a significant increase of 17.7 points from 74.7% (59 out of 79 participants) before the survey.

Notably, among the 20 participants who answered "not confident" or "neither" before the survey, 80% (16 participants) changed their response to "confident" in the post-survey, indicating that continued consumption of the product and meal recording brought about a positive change in participants' mindsets.

2 Virtuous Cycle of Success: "Awareness" and "Confidence" are linked, leading to a positive shift in motivation

During the monitor period, 96.2% (76 out of 79 participants) responded that they "always" or "to some extent" were conscious of their daily food intake. Furthermore, 93.4% (71 out of 76 participants) of this "highly meal-conscious" group gained confidence that they "could continue," suggesting that the sense of self-management from being conscious of and visualizing daily meals can lead to motivation for achieving their ideal physique.

Additionally, 67.1% (53 out of 79 participants) responded that they "felt more motivated to increase their activity level" compared to before the monitor survey, confirming a trend leading to a virtuous cycle of "awareness → confidence → motivation."

3 85.7% of those facing dieting "hurdles" were satisfied with the program

Overall satisfaction with "Savas Weight Down" reached 83.5% (66 out of 79 participants). In particular, among the 56 participants who cited "difficulty in continuing" (29 participants) or "stress from dietary restrictions" (27 participants) as the biggest hurdles in dieting, 85.7% (48 participants) responded "very satisfied" or "somewhat satisfied." This result indicates that the product provided a high level of satisfaction to those facing challenges that tend to lead to setbacks.

4 "Smart Dieting" shown by data: Protein intake ratio improved by 8.6%

Analysis of the actual recorded data from "Calomeal" showed that participants' average daily calorie intake remained nearly unchanged, from 2,078 kcal before the survey to 2,043 kcal during the period. On the other hand, protein intake increased from 101.8g to 108.7g, and the amount of protein per 1,000 kcal (intake ratio) improved by 8.6%, from 49.0g to 53.2g. A trend towards a dietary lifestyle that is conscious of nutritional balance, rather than forcibly reducing food intake, was confirmed.

5 Over 70% of those who gained confidence showed a high intention to repeat purchases (continue buying)

Regarding purchase continuation intention after the monitor period, 67.1% (53 out of 79 participants) responded that they "want to continue buying and drinking it in the future." Furthermore, among the 73 participants who gained confidence that they "could continue," 71.2% (52 participants) expressed a desire for continued purchase, clearly showing a trend where the "confidence" gained through the program directly leads to product loyalty (intention to continue use).
