The international trade fair for interiors and design, "Interior Lifestyle" (organized by Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd., President: Yasushi Kajiwara), will be held for three days from Wednesday, June 10 to Friday, June 12, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight West Exhibition Halls. Approximately 400 companies from 15 countries and regions will exhibit at this fair, introducing a diverse range of products focusing on design, functionality, and brand stories, primarily in general merchandise, furniture, and tableware. Through 17 exhibition zones and talk shows, the fair will not only provide business opportunities but also offer visitors, mainly from the retail, hospitality, and contract industries, a chance to deepen their understanding of brands, gain tips for product selection, and find inspiration for new lifestyle proposals.

"Special Projects" where participants' enthusiasm intersects
The popular Atrium Special Project this year, themed "Work & Lifestyle: Public and Private Life as One Root," welcomes Smiles Co., Ltd. as director, overseeing everything from spatial composition supervision to curation. This project reconsiders manufacturing from the perspective that "work (public)" and "life (private)" are not separate but connected at their roots. By focusing on manufacturing that derives value from "fun" and "excitement" born from individual interests and daily discoveries, in addition to business rationality, the exhibition aims to create encounters with visitors who resonate with the displayed products, visualizing the motivation, process, and underlying thoughts behind product development.
Furthermore, within the atrium, the "GATHE:RING" area will host "Chill Talk" presentations by exhibitors throughout the day, directly conveying each brand's aspirations and production background. Also, in the talk event "Ho Ho Ho" themed on hotels and restaurants, Mr. Go Yoshihara, CEO of Earthboat Co., Ltd., which operates "Earthboat" trailer houses with private saunas nationwide, will discuss the future of hotels, saunas, and outdoor living.

"Ambiente Trend," which attracts attention annually at "Ambiente," the world's largest international consumer goods fair and a sister fair to Interior Lifestyle, will be introduced for the first time at this fair. In this area, the German design trend office "Bora Herke Palmisano" will exhibit selected products, presenting the direction of the latest interior trends. It will offer inspiration for the latest interior trends, purchasing decisions, and product development to industry professionals in retail, design, and hospitality. Additionally, as a related project, Anetta Palmisano from the same office will visit Japan and hold a talk show on the LIFESTYLE SALON stage.
