Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd. (President: Yasushi Kajiwara) will hold "Beautyworld Japan Tokyo," Japan's largest B2B comprehensive beauty trade fair, for three days from Monday, May 18 to Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight Halls 1-4 + Atrium and Halls 1-4 South. Over 820 companies, including approximately 250 new exhibitors and 120 international exhibitors, will participate, showcasing products and services related to aesthetics, hair, nails, beauty, health, femcare/femtech, beauty foods, etc., to an estimated 70,000 visitors. Furthermore, four zones featuring products and services themed around comprehensive beauty and health, such as fitness, healthcare, and mindfulness, will be developed as the "Wellness Area." Additionally, driven by the expansion of the luxury perfume market, a zone called "KAORI et Parfum" will be newly established within the "Platinum Area" to gather niche fragrances.

Venue Relocated to West + South Halls, 16 Product-Specific Zones Including New Areas Deployed

In 2026, due to large-scale renovations at Tokyo Big Sight, the event will be held at Tokyo Big Sight West Halls 1-4 + Atrium and South Halls 1-4. While focusing on esthetic cosmetics and beauty equipment, which are major features of Beautyworld Japan, the event will propose total beauty as the "Wellness Area" by consolidating four zones – "Body + Beauty," "Tasti," "Femmore," and "Fitness + Beauty" – in West Hall 3, in response to the growing market demand for health and well-being. Furthermore, the new zone "KAORI et Parfum" will gather niche fragrances, typically distributed through limited channels, from both domestic and international sources, creating opportunities to discover new scents that can strengthen salon retail sales. Additionally, the "Clinic Care" zone, established last year for medical professionals only, will continue to be located in the "Platinum Area," introducing exclusive cosmetics and health foods usable in beauty clinics.

International participation includes pavilions from South Korea and China, as well as exhibitors from the USA, India, Senegal, Thailand, Taiwan, Germany, and Hong Kong, showcasing the latest trends in cosmetics, makeup, hair care, nails, and OEM/ODM products, leveraging the unique characteristics of each country and region. Moreover, the "Tokyo Nail Forum 2026," organized by the NPO Japan Nailist Association and a major spring nail event attracting attention from nailists both domestically and internationally, will be held concurrently in South Hall 3.

Various Exchange Events Including Business Meetings and Events for Medical Professionals Will Be Held

During the exhibition, three events will be held allowing direct interaction between exhibitors and visitors. The "Business Meeting," now in its third year, will see participation from approximately 20 overseas buyers, offering domestic exhibitors opportunities to expand their overseas sales channels.

Furthermore, within the "Clinic Care" zone, an exchange event for exhibitors and medical-related visitors called "Happy Hour" will be held on the second day of the exhibition, May 19 (Tuesday). This event will feature Seikoiyama Seiko (Director, Seiko Medical Beauty Clinic) and Yuyu Okubo (Director General, BIANCA CLINIC & Director, Omotesando), official ambassadors for Clinic Care. Additionally, the Women's Aesthetic Medicine Association (WAM) will host a special event, "WAM in Beautyworld Japan Tokyo: Delving into the Essence of Medical-Exclusive Products – Top Companies x Doctors Discuss the Forefront of Beauty." This event will feature a dialogue format with top companies handling medical-exclusive products and doctors active at the forefront of aesthetic medicine, introducing the latest trends...
