Manga Productions and Koei Tecmo Games Announce Arabic Version of "Fatal Frame: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE" for Middle East Expansion

Manga Productions (Riyadh/Tokyo), a Saudi Arabia-based game and anime production and distribution company, in collaboration with Koei Tecmo Games Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; President and CEO: Hisashi Koinuma), will release the Arabic version of the latest installment in the popular game series, "Fatal Frame: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE," for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and Xbox Series X|S in the second quarter of 2026 (April-June), based on their publishing agreement for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The game, which was released worldwide on March 12, currently supports multiple languages including Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Korean. The Arabic version is scheduled to be supported in the second quarter of this year.

This title is a Japanese-style horror adventure game where twin sisters, who have wandered into a deserted village haunted by vengeful spirits, progress through the story by battling these spirits using the "Camera Obscura," a camera that can capture and seal away the impossible.

In this game, not only the graphics and sound but also the game system and controls have been completely revamped. While retaining the traditional system of photographing spirits with the "Camera Obscura" to repel them, the gameplay using the "Camera Obscura" is deepened in both exploration and combat. Furthermore, a new action, "Hold hands with Mayu," has been added, allowing players to feel the bond between the sisters more strongly.

Significant improvements have been made to the sound, game system, and controls, resulting in a more immersive and refined experience. The "Camera Obscura," an iconic system of the series, continues to be a central element of the game, offering a deeper and more engaging experience in exploration and combat.
