Pets First's Foster Home Search Activities

Under the philosophy of "Pets always come first," Pets First engages in foster home search activities as a responsible initiative that looks ahead to the pet's life and future from before they are welcomed into a home.

Pets that develop illnesses or other conditions before sale are treated until they are fully cured or their health can be maintained with ongoing care, and then handed over to foster parents who understand their condition. We also act as an agent to find foster homes on behalf of customers who find it difficult to continue caring for their pets for unavoidable reasons. Furthermore, since 2013, we have been continuously engaged in adoption activities for stray dogs and cats rescued from public health centers and animal welfare centers as part of our CSR activity, "Pets always come first Project."

These pets, waiting for new families, are primarily cared for daily with love by our care staff at our care facility, "Pet Care & Adoption Center Nikko." Adoption events have been regularly held at this facility since 2023, providing opportunities for over 30 pets to find new families.

Regarding the Event at NICO PET Kuki Shobu Store

This time, the adoption event will be held at "NICO PET Kuki Shobu Store," a specialty pet store within Home Center Musashi Kuki Shobu, operated by our group's parent company, Arclands Corporation. This is the first time an adoption event will be held within a Home Center Musashi store, and we aim to provide more customers with the opportunity to meet pets awaiting foster homes.

NICO PET, with its slogan "Supporting all pet lives from cradle to grave," offers a wide range of services in addition to selling abundant pet supplies, including beauty salons and pet hotels, to meet diverse pet life needs.

At the adoption event, staff who are regularly involved in pet care will carefully explain the pet's personality, health status, and future life.

Additionally, pets are welcome at NICO PET Kuki Shobu Store, and you can also enjoy shopping at the store. It is perfectly fine to just interact with the pets. Please feel free to stop by.

Future Adoption Event Schedule

Moving forward, through collaboration with each NICO PET store, we will continue to hold community-based adoption events, expanding opportunities for pets waiting to meet their new families.

We will also continue to hold adoption events regularly at "Pet Care & Adoption Center Nikko."

*Please note that the schedule of events is subject to change. We will provide the latest information as it becomes available.

Pets First Group will continue to promote initiatives that prioritize the happiness of all pets, together with Arclands.
