Announcement of Pets First Group Adoption Event on April 26, 2026 (Sunday) at NICO PET Kasukabe Store

Pets First Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Haruhiko Sakamoto, hereafter referred to as Pets First Group), which upholds the philosophy of “Pets always come first,” announces that an adoption event will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at “NICO PET Kasukabe Store” within Super Viva Home Kasukabe.

This initiative follows the adoption event held in March 2026 at NICO PET Hachioji TamadaiMae Store. Going forward, adoption events are planned to be held regularly at various NICO PET stores in the Kanto region, expanding opportunities for pets awaiting adoptive families.

■ Pets First's Adoption Activities
Under the philosophy of “Pets always come first,” Pets First engages in adoption activities as a responsible initiative that considers not only welcoming pets but also their future lives and entire lifespan.

Pets that develop illnesses before sale are treated until they are cured or their health is maintained through ongoing care, and then handed over to adoptive families who understand their condition. We also act as agents for finding adoptive families on behalf of customers who can no longer continue caring for their pets due to unavoidable reasons. Furthermore, as part of our CSR activity “Pets always come first Project,” we have been continuously involved in adoption activities for rescued dogs and cats from public health centers and animal shelters since 2013.

The pets awaiting new families are primarily cared for with affection by our care staff daily at our “Pet Care & Adoption Center Nikko.” Since 2023, this facility has been holding regular adoption events, providing new families for over 30 pets so far.*1

■ Regarding the event at NICO PET Kasukabe Store
Pets First Group became a group company of Arclands Corporation (Headquarters: Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture, President: Yoshifumi Sato, hereafter Arclands) in June 2025.

This time, the adoption event will be held at the Kasukabe store of “NICO PET,” a comprehensive pet specialty store operated by Arclands.

NICO PET, with its slogan “From cradle to grave, supporting all pet lives,” not only sells a wide range of pet supplies but also offers various services such as a beauty salon and pet hotel, catering to a wide range of pet life needs.

At the adoption event, staff who care for pets daily and veterinarians will carefully explain the pets' personalities, health conditions, and future lives.

Furthermore, pets are allowed at NICO PET Kasukabe Store, and customers can enjoy shopping. It is perfectly fine to just interact with the pets. Please feel free to stop by.

Going forward, through collaboration with various NICO PET stores, we will continue to hold community-based adoption events, expanding opportunities for pets waiting for new families.

Pet Care & Adoption Center Nikko is a dedicated pet care facility operated by Pets First.
Opened in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture in 2007, it serves as a comprehensive facility offering paid adoption agency services and lifelong care for pets, regardless of their circumstances, with the aim of ensuring them a happy life.
It features approximately 30,000 tsubo (about 99,000 sqm) of land and hygienic facilities, including an examination room staffed by veterinarians.
