Patience Capital Group, a Japan-based investment firm specializing in real estate and private equity, has announced that it will host 'MYOKO TRAIL,' an international event in the world-class 'GOLDEN TRAIL WORLD SERIES' (GTWS), in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture, on September 19-20, 2026.

This event is positioned as one of the eight races in the global series, bringing together world-class athletes. Through hosting this tournament, PCG aims to enhance international recognition of the region, transition to year-round tourism, and build a sustainable tourism model that leverages regional resources, thereby creating new value for Myoko.

Races Set in a World-Class Natural Environment The race will start at the Myoko Suginohara Ski Resort and take place in the magnificent natural environment overlooking Mt. Myoko and Lake Nojiri. The event will feature three race categories: a full-scale 23.5km course with approximately 1,800m of cumulative elevation gain (an official GTWS race), as well as 11km and 5km courses for general participants. By sharing the same field, both top athletes and general participants will be provided value from both competitive and experiential perspectives.

A Sports Platform Connecting the Region and the World Through this event, Myoko will serve not just as a 'venue for competition,' but also as an international hub for exchange where people, culture, and nature intersect. During the event, diverse programs are planned in addition to the competition, including athlete presentations, press conferences, and opportunities for local exchange.

PCG Founder and CEO Ken Chan commented: 'PCG views this event not merely as an international sports event, but as a strategic starting point to evolve the Myoko area into an outdoor sports destination recognized by the world. In recent years, trail running has grown rapidly worldwide, backed by values of nature, wellness, and sustainability. Hosting this tournament embodies our strategy of building a sustainable tourism model that utilizes local natural resources, and we believe it will contribute to improving Myoko's international recognition and its development as a year-round tourism destination.'
