The bridal jewelry brand 'atelier ST,CAT' will open a specialty store for engagement and diamond rings, '-u- atelier ST,CAT,' in Yoyogi Uehara on June 27, 2026.

Since pivoting to a bridal-focused brand in 2023, the brand has maintained continuous profit growth, with a 25-fold increase over three years. This expansion is in response to the growing demand for engagement rings and diamonds, alongside the expansion of custom-made wedding ring orders.

The new store is located just a 3-minute walk from the main store (in Uehara, Shibuya-ku). By establishing it as a specialty store, the brand aims to offer deeper ring proposals and experiences that resonate with individual lives.

Currently operating with only one location, the brand has continued to grow steadily since shifting its focus to the bridal business. Moving forward, the company plans to further expand its business through a multi-store system while prioritizing in-store experience-based sales.

Introducing Lab-Grown Diamonds and New Engagement Ring Designs

Featuring a lineup of engagement rings with diverse designs, allowing customization of materials and diamond colors.

In addition to natural diamonds, the brand has started handling lab-grown diamonds for the first time. The range offers various options, from high-fashion, larger diamonds and colored diamonds to designs that fit daily life subtly. By expanding the design range while maintaining high quality, the brand provides a wide variety of choices, offering free-spirited engagement rings that accompany the couple.

Every ring is hand-crafted in the adjacent atelier at atelier ST,CAT. From stone setting to the form and finish of the ring, each piece is finished as a custom-made item.

A Special and Sophisticated Space by MILESTONE

The entrance features hand-aged iron, and at the back of the store, one can peer into the atelier through a round glass window.

The design is once again handled by MILESTONE, known for popular establishments like 'Kabi' and 'AC HOUSE.' The space is characterized by the organic nature of continuous curved arches and the inorganic feel of hand-processed iron. While calm enough for relaxing ring selection, the design is dotted with gimmicks reminiscent of caves or outer space, sparking curiosity. The adjacent atelier can be viewed through a circular window. Plaster-finished walls and shadows cast by lighting create a special atmosphere, embodying the brand's aesthetic in a quiet, gentle, and sophisticated manner.

The brand creates highly design-oriented, custom-made wedding and engagement rings that defy traditional values, manufactured by artisans in an in-house atelier attached to the Yoyogi Uehara store. Debuting as a handmade brand in 2014 by former fashion editor Seiko Hayashi, the brand started its wedding ring business in 2022 and shifted to a bridal-specialized brand in 2023.

The designs, which retain the charm of handwork, evoke a sense of 'incomplete whitespace expanding into the couple's life.'

In the spring of 2026, Akiho Kano, who has been a core member of the brand as a designer and craftsman since its inception, took over as the new Creative Director, succeeding representative Seiko Hayashi. The company will separate management and creative departments to strengthen business growth.
