Pal System Niigata Tokimeki Consumers' Cooperative (Headquarters: Nishi-ku, Niigata City; Representative Director: Etsuko Seno) held a signing ceremony for a "Collaboration Agreement for the Promotion of Childcare Support" with Seiro Town (Mayor: Michio Nishiwaki) on Thursday, April 30th. This marks the third agreement with a local government, following those with Shibata City and Tsubame City. As a community watch provider in the areas where it operates its home delivery business, the cooperative aims to promote the creation of an environment where everyone can raise children with peace of mind and all children can grow up healthy.
Also creating places for interaction as a bearer of local welfare
The agreement is concluded to effectively promote Seiro Town's childcare support policies by utilizing the community-based network of cooperative home delivery and the daily contact with child-rearing households. As a cooperative that promotes childcare support and community welfare activities together with its users, it will deepen its collaboration with the administration in Seiro Town, which has a high household usage rate within the prefecture.
At the signing ceremony, Mayor Nishiwaki and Representative Director Seno each signed two copies of the agreement. Representative Director Seno stated, "In addition to our home delivery business that delivers safe food to homes, as a cooperative that contributes to creating communities where people can continue to live with peace of mind, we will also play a role in childcare support. In the future, we will collaborate with a view to creating places for community residents to interact," expressing her determination to meet the expectations of Seiro Town.

Leveraging the role of "Co-op Home Delivery" in watching over the community
Based on the agreement, Seiro Town will distribute information cards for the "Omedeto-bako" (Congratulations Box), a gift set of childcare products, as a birth celebration to recipients of infant health check-ups. Those who wish to receive it can apply via a QR code on the card to receive a set of Pal System original products and other items. The gifts include baby soap, baby wipes, a recipe book useful for making baby food, and salt-free tuna cans.
The "Omedeto-bako" will be delivered directly to the applicant's home by Pal System on behalf of the town. As a cooperative celebrating its 10th year of home delivery service in the prefecture, it will provide products and delivery while watching over child-rearing households in the community.
