Kawasaki City Seeks Volunteers to Make 'Dementia Supporter' Mascots on April 22

Consumer Co-operative Palsystem Kanagawa will hold a volunteer session to create 'Robataicho' mascots on April 22, 2026, at its Asao Center in Kawasaki. These mascots symbolize the Dementia Supporter Caravan, representing a steady step-by-step progress toward a community where people with dementia can live safely. The handmade mascots are distributed to graduates of the Dementia Supporter Training Course, who wear them to indicate their readiness to help those in need. The event is free, requires no application, and aims to create a welcoming space for community members through handicraft.
