NETGEAR Japan合同会社 (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Ryohei Oonita), a global leader in network equipment, has launched the latest version of its cloud-based network management platform, "NETGEAR Insight 10." This is a major update that looks towards the evolution of network operations utilizing AI.

◾️ About NETGEAR Insight

NETGEAR Insight is a cloud-based platform that allows for centralized monitoring and operation of network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points from a single management screen.

◾️ Background of the Announcement

With the spread of cloud services, AI utilization, and remote work, corporate network environments have become increasingly complex year by year. On the other hand, many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) do not have dedicated IT operations teams like large corporations, facing the challenge of "managing an ever-increasing number of devices with limited personnel."

Insight 10 was developed with the aim of enabling SMEs and similar organizations to achieve operational efficiency comparable to large enterprises by allowing them to manage more customers, locations, and devices without increasing operational effort.

◾️ Four Features of NETGEAR Insight 10

AI-Powered Operational Support The AI-powered network provisioning function (beta version) reduces the effort required for initial setup and device addition. In addition, the anomaly detection function captures changes in communication status, supporting early problem detection. This promotes a shift from reactive troubleshooting to proactive operations.

Easy-to-Understand and Usable "Visualization" Operating status, device status, communication quality, and user experience are displayed together on a single dashboard. Status checks and troubleshooting can be performed remotely without needing to be on-site.

Simple Operation Even with More Locations and Customers Multiple customers and locations can be switched in seconds from a hierarchical screen. The function to copy settings from existing locations to new locations allows for smooth deployment of new devices.

Secure and Safe Cloud Infrastructure Built on a secure cloud infrastructure, it enables stable centralized management regardless of how dispersed the locations are. By adding the "Cyber Gateway" subscription, advanced SASE-based security functions can be deployed across locations. It can also be utilized as a foundation for business expansion and DX promotion.

◾️ Future Outlook

As networking, security, cloud, and AI continue to converge, NETGEAR positions Insight as the core platform for next-generation innovation for SMEs and MSPs, and will continue to expand its features. Centered on cloud-native management and AI-driven operations, it will support the evolution from "network management" to "intelligent operations."
