Coleman Supports 'JFA Kids Festival' at 9 Venues Nationwide

Newell Brands Japan G.K., Coleman Division (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Yutaka Nakazato; hereinafter 'Coleman'), based on the JFA Social Value Partner Agreement signed with the Japan Football Association (Location: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: Tsuneyasu Miyamoto; hereinafter 'JFA') in January of this year, will support the 'JFA Kids Festival' held by the JFA at 9 venues nationwide through heatstroke countermeasures utilizing Coleman's outdoor equipment.

With another scorching summer expected, children are particularly vulnerable to heatstroke, as they are affected not only by direct sunlight but also by radiant heat from the ground, placing them at higher risk than adults. The JFA and Coleman will implement thorough heatstroke countermeasures to ensure children can fully enjoy soccer at these events. They aim to expand safe and comfortable environments for soccer families, including children, by utilizing Coleman's outdoor equipment in various soccer-related scenes such as 'watching,' 'playing,' and 'engaging.'

■JFA Kids Festival

This event is designed for preschool and early elementary school children to experience the joy of soccer. It provides an opportunity for children who want to play soccer to encounter the sport. It is a valuable chance to offer many children a wonderful introduction to soccer, and prefectural football associations (FAs) also host kids' festivals tailored to local characteristics.

■ 'JFA × Coleman Kids Festival' Kickoff Event Report

The JFA held the 'JFA × Coleman Kids Festival' on March 28, 2026, at the Takamado-no-miya Memorial JFA Dream Field in Chiba Prefecture. This event was a kickoff event commemorating the signing of the JFA Social Value Partner Agreement between the JFA and Coleman, serving as a fitting start to the 'JFA Kids Festival' series held at 9 venues nationwide.

(Participant Feedback)

* My child had almost no soccer experience, so I was worried if they would enjoy it, but with support, they seemed to have fun playing soccer even with new friends.

* It was a really great event. The staff gave a clear explanation of how Coleman gear helps with recovery during breaks, and I thought it was a wonderful collaboration.

* The heat-shielding effect of the sunshade was amazing; I was surprised by the difference in perceived temperature just by stepping into the shade. I thought about choosing it as a gift for the team.

* I was a bit worried because it was my child's first time participating in an event away from parents among older children at such a young age. However, I was able to see them go to their color-coded team on their own and enjoy the program with other friends. I was happy to see my child's growth.

* Being able to actually touch and use Coleman products, I felt they were indeed easy to use and high-performance.
