Former Pro Baseball Player Atsushi Nohmi Appointed TRION Brand Ambassador for Third Term

TRION, a bag brand developed by TRION Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that former professional baseball player and baseball commentator Atsushi Nohmi will serve as a TRION Ambassador for a third term.

Since 2024, Mr. Nohmi has been active as a TRION Ambassador, creating opportunities for many customers to discover TRION through collaborative item development, event appearances, visual shoots, and social media outreach.

About Atsushi Nohmi

Atsushi Nohmi had a long and successful career as a professional baseball player and is now active as a baseball commentator. He has been beloved by many fans for his sincere and earnest attitude and calm demeanor since his playing days, and as a TRION Ambassador, he naturally conveys the brand's worldview and passion for manufacturing.

<Atsushi Nohmi Profile>

Born in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture in 1979. He started playing baseball in elementary school and gained attention as one of the "Three Eagles of High School" during his time at Tottori Johoku High School. After playing for Osaka Gas, he joined the Hanshin Tigers in '04. He was active from his first professional year, making the opening day roster, and in '13, he participated in the 3rd WBC as a member of Samurai Japan. He achieved 100 career wins in '18 and also recorded his first professional save. In '20, he left the Tigers after recording the team's oldest save at 41 years and 5 months old. In '21, he played for the Orix Buffaloes as a player-coach. He made his final pitching appearance on September 30, 2022, against the Lotte Marines, ending his 18-year career with an all-fastball approach from his signature wind-up, described as "the world's most beautiful." Since 2023, he has been active as a baseball commentator, leveraging his calm and collected perspective, similar to his time on the mound. He will serve as the pitching coach for Samurai Japan in the 2026 WORLD BASEBALL CLASSICTM.
